Olympiada Chalkidiki is a beautiful village that combines the green of the mountain with the blue of the sea, while at the same time it overlooks the islet of Kafkanas. It is the ideal place for families but also for the visitor who wants to spend calm and relaxed holidays. The area around Olympiada has dense vegetation consisting mainly of plane trees. At a short distance from it is the archaeological site of Stagira and other tourist attractions. Olympiada is ideal for walks and swimming, while it is protected by the Natura 2000 program. Stunning Beaches
Olympiada has unique beaches. Its main beach, which has been awarded with a blue flag, extends to 700 meters along the village and continues for about 1 km, where it meets the Golden Coast. Most seas are shallow and suitable for children. There are spots that are organized with beach bars and sunbeds but also freely. Some of the beaches are Proti Ammoudia, Kefalas, Vina, Gourgourou, Marmari and Sykia.
Museums / History
One of the most important archaeological sites of Chalkidiki is ancient Stagira which is located near Olympiada and has a unique view. One of the most important archaeological findings is the tomb and the monument of Aristotle. Other monuments that are in Chalkidiki and worth visiting are Ancient Olynthos, Ancient Toroni with the Castle of Lykythos and the Temple of Zeus Ammon on the beach of Kallithea.

Olympiada is located in the northeastern side of Chalkidiki Greece, within the Strymonikos gulf.
BY AIRPLANE
The closests airports are the ones in Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia – SKG) which is approximately 100km from Olympiada and the one in Kavala (Kavala Airport “Alexander the Great“ – KVA) which is approximately 128km from Olympiada. Both airports receive numerous flights from all over Europe especially during the summer season
BY CAR
The road to access Olympiada, is via Stavros (the nearest town) at a distance of 12 km. From Thessaloniki, Olympiada is 90 km away via the new National Road Thessaloniki – Kavala (Egnatia Motorway). From Kavala, the road distance is 99 km via Egnatia Motorway. From Serres, Olympiada is 98 km away via the National Road of Serres – Drama, or alternatively 82 km away via Nigrita (country road).
